Kenyan musician Mr Seed recently released a song dubbed ex wangu. The song explores themes of past relationships and moving on.
The song tells a story of an ex-partner moving on with an older white man. In the song, the singers wish their exes well and pray for their happiness.
"Ex wangu andate mtu fake mtu sura mbaya...Kumbe mzungu mzee, alipata mzungu mzee."
This however caught the attention of his baby mama Liz Sonia who took to her Instagram stories to respond in a way that suggested she was addressing the song.
"Heri wazungu wazee wanalea watoto sio wao," and added another post saying, "Shida ya wazee is you have older step kids... Janadenoni my stepdaughter."
Mr Seed shared a post in response. Although he did not mention her name directly, he posted a message advising his ex that it was not out of bad intentions, saying, "Dear ex, it's nothing personal, nakuombea maulana," accompanied by laughing emojis.
Last year, Liz Sonia pointed fingers at the musician for being a Deadbeat Father to their seven year old son Prince Faiz.
Sharing on social media, Liz Sonia said it hurts her to see her son missing school due to lack of school fees yet Mr seed is taking care of his other child.
she claimed that for seven years, the musician has not been taking care of his son and even when he sends money, he asks for it back the following day.
