Gbag Na Jug Hit maker, Stoopid Boy is on the spotlight again after he was captured on camera outside a club in Nairobi.
According to a video making rounds on social media, the Arbantone artist was refused entry at a club since he had not paid the required fee.
Stoopid Boy refused to pay the entrance fee adding that he is a celebrity and his hit song has millions of views on YouTube.
"Nataka kuingia nikae for a few minutes alafu niende home. Sasa nitalipa na Mimi ni celeb? Ngoma yangu iko na 4 million views, nilifanya na Mejja. Siwezi Lipa Entrance kwa club, hiyo nayo Siwezi."
His manager Dr Castro however defended his sentiments amid criticism by a section of Kenyans.
"Ingekuwa msanii kama Khaligraph Jones, mngeuliza hayo maswali mnauliza?"
In May, Dr Ofweneke revealed Stoopid Boy abruptly cancelled their scheduled TV 47 interview because he wanted to be paid.
"We Were To Have Stoopid Boy On The Show But He Cancelled At The Last Minute Asking To Be Paid To Show Up."
According to Dr Ofweneke, fans had proposed to have Stoopid Boy on the show but he intentionally cancelled.
Ofweneke went ahead to blast Stoopid Boy for choosing money, adding that a time will come when he will need to promote his other songs but the media will disappoint him too.
The musician said that before his song went viral, noone was approaching him for interviews.
He mentioned the concept of a 'sitting allowance,' emphasising that his time and participation in interviews hold value.
