Kenyan digital creators Nicholas Kioko and his wife Wambo Ashley have revealed that their YouTube channels have been hacked.

In a statement released via his social media platforms this morning, Kioko informed his followers about the breach and urged them to avoid engaging with any suspicious content being posted on their platforms.

“We regret to inform you that both my YouTube channel, Nicholas Kioko, and my wife Ashley Wambo’s have been hacked. We are working with YouTube and cybersecurity experts to resolve the issue. Please avoid any suspicious content posted for the time being."

The couple assured fans that efforts are underway to regain control of the channels. They asked their followers to remain patient as they work to resolve the situation and prevent further damage.

Having been brought up in a humble background, the father of two was a hawker for three years till 2021 when he rose to stardom.

Nicholas Kioko's breakthrough moment came after uploading a clip of Lulu Hassan's interview with Onsongo comedy which garnered over 1 million views.

With his consistency, resilience, and hard work, Nicholas rose from 9.6k viewers to 100k viewers in a matter of weeks.

His YouTube channel has over 500k subscribers.
