Moses Njoroge , the man who threw a woman he met on Facebook off the 12th floor of a building in Nairobi has been jailed for 5 years.
In a ruling issued by Magistrate Esther Kimilu on Thursday, December 1 2022, Njoroge was found guilty of harming his date Eunice Wangari.
In the 13th September 2022 incident, Wangari suffered pelvic injuries and spent two months at Kenyatta National hospital.
On the fateful day, Wangari left her house to meet Njoroge for a date in Nairobi CBD. They had met on Facebook and this was their first physical date.
She met him at his office and together they went for lunch. They then went back to the office and spent sometime together until around 7.30 pm.
Wangari told the court that he'll broke loose when she said she wanted to leave. Njoroge was furious that she did not want to spend the night with him.
It was at this point he threw her from the 12th floor of the building and she fell on the 9th floor.
