Former education CS George Magoha Died hours before his younger brother's body arrived at the Jomo Kenyatta international airport for his burial on Saturday.
Magoha died at Nairobi Hospital on Tuesday, January 24, after a cardiac arrest.
Richard Alex Nyabera Magoha 68,Died on December 6, 2022 in the US. His funeral was slated to take place on January 28, 2022 in Siaya County.
Preliminary reports indicate that Prof George Magoha was among the family members making the burial arrangements for his brother.
"Cortege will leave Agha Khan Funeral Home Kisumu, on Saturday, January 28, for a memorial requiem mass at Township Primary School Yala at 10:00 am followed by intermittent at his Umiru home in Yala, Gem, Sub-County," Alex's obituary read.
Following the double loss, the family is yet to issue a comprehensive statement on whether Alex's burial will go on as slated on Saturday, January 28 or whether it will be postponed to a later date.
In the space of two years, the family has lost three brothers. In August 2021, the family buried Charles Agunga Magoha, who died in Sweden.
George Magoha left behind his wife Barbara Magoha and his son Michael.
Richard Alex Nyabera Magoha left behind his wife wife, Janet Magoha, and children, Crystal, Ashley and Benny Magoha.
