A Bodaboda rider identified as Antony Mwangi from Roysambu is nursing injuries after a male client bit off his lip.
Talking to Paxson Tv, oAntony Mwangi said he received a client on Friday evening. The client requested to be dropped at a place called Zebra in Zimmerman.
Upon arrival, the male client asked Antony to escort him to the house to collect payment of Ksh 200.
The Bodaboda rider followed the client to the fourth floor of his apartment. The client seemed hospitable and even asked Antony to sit down for refreshments.
Antony declined and the man became hostile. He took Antony's phone and asked him to bend over for 'Twa twa'. He became aggressive and attempted to sodomize him.
The shocked Bodaboda rider tried to fight him back and at this point the man kissed him, pulled his lip too hard and bit it off.
His screams and cries for help attracted neighbors who rushed at the scene and gave him first aid.
Police officers who arrived at the scene arrested the said client and took him to Kasarani police station.
Fellow Bodaboda riders have expressed their disappointment seeing that the suspect managed to bail himself out the following day.
The riders have shared that they are unsafe following such cases and others since the clients always look harmless when approaching them and become hostile on arrival.
They have also been advised against following clients to their houses to avoid such incidents.
