Popular real estate firm Lesedi Developers has terminated their contract with DJ Fatxo as their brand ambassador following investigations into the death of 23 year old Jeff Mwathi.
Lesedi group said as a company, they have strong values and must disassociate themselves from the singer inorder to uphold their values and principles.
"We at Lesedi Group Limited would like to address recent events regarding our previous brand ambassador, DJ Fatxo. We are deeply saddened and concerned by the allegations that have been brought against him."
Adding that, "As a company, we take these accusations very seriously, and we have decided to dissociate ourselves from DJ Fatxo as our brand ambassador. We believe that it is important for us to uphold our values and principles, and we cannot condone any behavior that goes against them."
The company send condolences to the family of Jeff Mwathi as the promised to stand together in the fight for justice.
"We understand that this news has been difficult for many, especially the parents of the deceased and the wider community who have been impacted by this tragedy. We extend our deepest condolences to them and assure them that we stand with them during this difficult time. "
In their statement they added that the move is inorder to promote positive values as well as teach their customers to be responsible for their actions.
"As parents ourselves, we know how important it is to teach our children to always do the right thing, and to be responsible for their actions. We believe that it is our responsibility to promote positive values and contribute to a better society. We will continue to do this as a company and encourage our customers to do the same. "
