Legendary Kenyan musician Eric Onguru well known as Kunguru is dead.
The 'Baby Don’t Go’ hit maker died on Sunday 19th March 2023 while receiving treatment at the hospital.
The musician’s death was confirmed by his management as well as fellow veteran musicians like Gidi Gidi who mourned his passing on social media.
”RiP my friend Kunguru,” Gidi Gidi wrote.
It was revealed that Kunguru had been receiving treatment in the hospital for the past weeks prior to his death.
The late musician had been unwell for quite sometime. He had been in and out of hospitals for the last couple of years although the cause of death has not been revealed.
Kunguru came into the limelight in the early 2000s and was among Ogopa Deejays most successful musicians.
He is well remembered for his all time hit ‘Baby Don’t Go’, a collabo with Mr. Lenny.
