Gospel musician Daddy Owen has spoken about his current troubles since he introduced  a Ksh 37 Million Hospital Hostel.

Owen pointed out that currently the media is focused on reporting about the large house worth about 37 million, which has made him get inundated with messages from thirsty ladies on his phone.

While sharing the news on social media, Daddy Owen said the project has brought him alot of attention especially since people claimed that his wife left him because he was poor.

"Eish! Watu ya media.. si mlisema niliwachwa coz nimesota🤷🏾‍♂️ alafu hii nayo sasa imeleta shida pale kwa DM👆🏿... now ur confusing the enemies pamoja na admirers/potentials..😊Anyways.. Kutoa ni moyo usambe ni utajiri. Glory and honour to JESUS Christ."

The hostel in Kijabe aims to provide a home for patients, especially children who have undergone surgeries and are in the recovery process and parents who need accommodation when their children are in treatment.

While describing some of the features inside the building to bloggers who had visited the site, Daddy Owen pointed out that there are rails on the sides to assist those using wheelchairs to support themselves while moving.

Daddy Owen revealed that parents would not necessarily have to pay for accommodation at the hostels, as they would only be able to accommodate a limited number of patients at a time, and provide fully for them for a certain period.

"By the time we are going for the medical camps, we usually identify children according to the budget that we have. We can't tell people to come if there is no money. So when the money is allocated, we usually analyze everything before going to pick up the kids. You will come to find out that parents may end up living here for free."

Daddy Owen challenged those who have achieved success to assist those in need and to contribute to the community.
