Eric Omondi has shared the devastating news of the death of one month old baby Pyden Mudoga.

Baby Pyden had developed a cancerous growth on the mouth and which Kenyans had joined hand together to raise funds for his medical attention.

Omondi  via his socials appealed to Kenyans to help the mother foot hospital bills for the young child who was in urgent need of specialized treatment.

A fundraising had begun online, which had managed to raise close to 1.5 million Kenya Shillings, which was geared towards his medical expenses and the journey to recovery.

Baby Pyden had been transferred from Kenyatta National hospital to an advanced facility with the hope of improving his condition.

Unfortunately The boy succumbed to the cancerous growth, which had taken a toll on him just a few weeks after he was born.

According to Eric Omondi burial preparations and arrangements are currently ongoing and  the funds will be used to arrange for his final send-off.

"We have lost baby Pyden. Pyden was a very Strong Baby...He fought a good fight. He ran his race. In the short time that he lived, he taught me great lessons. He taught Resilience. He has rested. We will remember him as a Legend. We will Celebrate his life. We will send him off as a PRINCE. May God give him rest. We will not lose hope, we will bury him as a soldier with our heads high. Once again Thank you to ALL who Contributed. We shall Continue."
