Kenyans are in mourning following the death of reggae DJ and media personality Mary Jahmby Koikai.
According to reports provided by her family and friends, The reggae queen who was known as Fyah Mummah died on Tuesday morning following a long battle with endometriosis.
She was admitted in hospital two weeks ago when she also appealed for help to manage her condition.
Updating her fans about her health, Jahmby, through her official social media page had disclosed that she was currently admitted at Pioneer Ward Nairobi Hospital.

The veteran media personality asked her fans who could donate blood to help her since she needed a blood transfusion.
The extent of the disease had spread to her teeth, heart, appendix and affected her spine causing my organs to shift to the left.
In a previous interview, she revealed that it took 17 years for her to be diagnosed with the condition.
Jahmby went further to explain that she had undergone countless surgeries because her lungs would fail every month during her periods.
On May 20, Jahmby shared a sincere call of help to a few Kenyan leaders including President Ruto when he made his state visit to the US to invest in health, and asked him to kindly add a few visits that would help the millions of Kenyan women battling endometriosis in silence.
