Jahmby Koikai's Dad Ambassador Daniel Koikai is dead.

The sad news comes on the day when his daughter Jahmby is being laid to rest in lang'ata cemetery. He was not present at the funeral.

Yesterday, Jahmby's dad paid an emotional tribute to her and asked for forgiveness for not being fully present in her life.

Dear Njambi my daughter, the time has come for me to atone for my acts of omission or commission on your final journey from this world it has been one of the most difficult episodes in my life, especially for your close family members - your mother, sister aunts, uncles and colleagues in the media and friends in and out of the country. I will remember you in many ways and I ask here in public where I may not have fulfilled my duties as your Dad please forgive me, forgive me, and forgive me. And I pray that your soul will rest in Eternal Peace."

He described their relationship as having both good and bad times, noting that they only met when Njambi was in high school because he was working abroad during her childhood.

The businessman went on to reveal a message his daughter sent him just a day before she died.

In her message, Njambi, who was in the hospital at the time, expressed her gratitude to her father and listed a few items she wanted him to bring her.

He praised Njambi’s influence, citing her large social media following as a testament to her influential personality.

The late Fyah Mummah died on June 3 while admitted at the hospital after a long battle with endometriosis.

Condolences to the family and may their souls rest in peace.
