Kenyan comedian Fred Omondi, the younger brother of popular comedian and activist Eric Omondi was laid to rest today at his home in Siaya county.
The burial was attended by top politicians including Azimio leader Raila Odinga, Siaya Governor James Orengo, National Assembly Minority Leader Opiyo Wandayi, langata Mp Jalango, Embakasi East Mp Babu Owino among others.
Kenyan celebrities and comedians such as Mc Jessy, Terence creative and his wife Milly chebby, 2Mbili, Awinja, YY and others.
Fred Omondi died in a tragic road accident along Kangundo Road in Nairobi.
Police said the accident happened after a bodaboda carrying Fred was involved in a head-on collision with a speeding bus around 6 am on June 15th.
A requiem mass for the deceased was held at Chiromo Chapel on Friday, June 28 before the body was airlifted from Nairobi to Kisumu and eventually to their home in Sega, Siaya County for burial.
