Detectives are looking for Ken Kimathi Gichunuku alias sultan, who is the Main Suspect in the Murder of 23 Year Old Seth Nyakio. She was the daughter of Kirinyaga County Assembly Nominated MCA Lucy Njeri.
Kimathi is believed to be behind the killing of Seth Nyakio Njeri, whose body was found at her friend's house at Biafra Estate within Thika township on October 10, 2024.
According to the DCI, Kimathi went into hiding after the incident, with homicide detectives embarking on hunting him down.
In a statement issued on Thursday evening, the DCI urged the public to volunteer details that would aid in the arrest of the suspect.
DCI described Kimathi as dangerous, adding that he has a criminal record having threatened to kill in the past.
"Gichunuku has a criminal record of threatening to kill as evidenced in a September 25, 2024 court case, and detectives are considering him dangerous to anyone he deems might expose him. Nyakio, a graduate of Zetech University, was found murdered on October 14, 2024, with preliminary police investigations suggesting that she was strangled.
