According to one of the organizers, Mtetezi, Gengetone Festival was inspired by a vision of creating an “unforgettable experience” that would celebrate Kenyan Music and also give the Gengetone artistes the opportunity to prove to Kenyans that the genre is as good as it can get.
The Festival offers a diversified program of activities, like boat riding, bike riding, maze run, zip-lining activities within the park.

King of Genge Juacali and Mejja , Gengetone Kings Ethic,Boondocks,Sailors ,Mbogi Genje,Wakali Wao,Breeder LW, Gwaash,Ochungulo Family,Zzero Sufuri ,Benga Musician Maima and Queen of Gengetone Ssaru and Vdj Jones are among the headliners for this month's event.
