Anne Adhiambo Ouma alias Nuts, the suspect in the murder of Nairobi Hospital Finance Director Eric Maigo, has pleaded guilty to the murder charges.
Ouma, who was identified as an adult appeared before High Court Judge Kanyi Kimondo and admitted to the offence.
The charges were read to her three times in Swahili when she appeared before High Court Judge Kanyi Kimondo to take a plea on Thursday; she repeatedly said, "Ni Ukweli."
The judge, however, warned the accused against the consequences of pleading guilty.
"Nakupa muda zaidi Ndio uweze kuongea na wakili wako ambaye Yuko mahakamani mzungumze wakuelezee vizuri kile unachoambia mahakama ...," the judge said.
The matter has now been referred to the Kibera law courts where she will be expected to take plea again.
Meanwhile, she will be held at the Langata women's prison pending the mention of the case on November 8.
Adhiambo was captured on CCTV escaping from the scene of Maigo's murder on the morning of 15th of October at Jamhuri area of Nairobi.
She was arrested at Olympic in Kibra after efforts by detectives were backed by members of the public who provided intelligence on her whereabouts.
Adhiambo stands accused of being behind the gruesome murder of Maigo, whose lifeless body was found in his house bearing 25 stab wounds.
