17 Pupils Died In School Fire At Hillside Endarasha Academy In Nyeri County, while 14 Others are Nursing Serious Injuries.

One of the dormitories housing the students was razed down killing the 16.

15 of them are said to have been confirmed dead at the scene while one died while being rushed to the hospital.

According to Rotich, the fire broke out around midnight when most of the students were asleep. The school has a population of 824 pupils, many of whom were affected by the sudden and devastating incident.
