Bonfire adventures CEO Sarah Kabu has shared the devastating news of the loss of her twins who were due in January.

The mother of two shared the sad news with her fans on Instagram adding that it has been a hard time for her and her family. She shared a photo of her laying on a hospital bed.

"Team Sarah Kabu, this is hard to type but sometime back I lost my twins due in January. Am trusting God for another miracle one day. My friends, prayers work."

Sarah also thanked her husband Simon Kabu for standing by her side and supporting her during the difficult time.

In an interview with Mungai Eve, Sarah also mentioned the loss of her twins adding that Diana Marua and Bahati's new born reminds her of the twins and that she suggested her name Malaika.

"I was expecting some twins, and was supposed to be due in January, but things didn't happen but we thank God for everything. We leave it to God but I am hopeful that if it was His will for that to happen, may be it will happen one day sooner than latter."

A while back, the couple had hinted on pregnancy and had shared a video of Simon and a  caption carefully etched with chocolate cream on a plate, reading: "Ready to be a dad again."
