Tanzanian star Diamond Platnumz’s dancer Angel Nyingu has shown her support for TikTok queen and radio presenter Azziad Nasenya for the People Choice Award.
Azziad was nominated for the African Social Star category and was the only person from the East African region to be nominated for the award.
Through her InstaStory, Nyingu asked her followers to vote for Azziad in the international award, noting that she will vote for her because they come from the same region.
"You know I am from East Africa so I have to choose my people for the E People’s Choice Award. So I’m going to choose my girl, the Tik Tok queen, Azziad from Kenya,” she said.
Angel becomes the second Tanzanian artist who has publicly declared her support for Azziad after singer Zuchu who also vowed to support her.
In a previous social media post, Zuchu asked her followers to come out in large numbers and vote for the Kenyan international.
“Our very own Azziad has been nominated for the E People choice award please let’s go hard on her,” Zuchu wrote.
